1. Spin the wheel without placing any bets. We want to record the categories coming up on the wheel to see how the table is running. Write down the first number result as either L, M, H or 0. Remember Low (L) is numbers 1-12, Middle (M) is numbers 13-24 and High (H) 25-36.
2. Keep spinning the wheel and recording categories until a pattern of 5 groups emerges where just 1 of the 3 categories has not appeared in 5 spins. For example, you might have LHHLH (no M for 5 spins) or MHMMH (no L for 5 spins). Don’t include a 0 as one of the 5 spins.
3. We are now ready to place our first bet. This will be on the category that has not come up in 5 spins. We place this bet using the table below, and starting from the 1st bet shown ($1).

4. If you are successful: congratulations! You have just made your first profit and win! If not, don’t worry, just move onto bet number 2. If you now win, congratulations, otherwise continue to move down the betting table until you do win. The likelihood of winning increases dramatically with each move down the table, as the category has not appeared for much longer than probability tells us it should have done.
5. After your first win, remember to go back to step 1 and record your sequence of numbers until a category is missing. Always start with from bet number 1 in the table and work your way down.

• Stick rigidly to the instructions – be sure not to alter a stage to speed things up. Chances are things may go wrong and your betting may become random.

The roulette table is divided up into certain groupings of numbers the ball can land once the wheel stops spinning. These include categories such as even, odd, red, black, low, middle or high.

We will only be considering the low-risk thirds of the table: known as Low, Middle and High. Low is the collection of numbers 1-12. Middle is the numbers 13-24. High covers 25-36. The ball can also land on a 0 which is in none of these 3 categories, but this can be ignored for now.
